Most delays aren’t caused by slow work.
They’re caused by having to go back.
The biggest time-saver I’ve implemented wasn’t a new tool or a complex workflow.
It was a checklist.
Before any work moved forward, I required a simple “production-ready” review:
• Are all details complete?
• Are configurations correct?
• Are location codes verified?
It added a few minutes upfront, and saved hours (sometimes days) downstream.
Fewer interruptions.
Fewer do-overs.
Fewer “how did this happen?” moments.
The lesson: speed doesn’t come from moving faster.
It comes from getting it right the first time.
